Review + Swatches // Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighters
Today I’m going to review two of the ‘Vivid baked highlighters’ from Makeup Revolution. I’ve had these for about 6 months now I believe and I’ve been using them quite frequently ever since.
The highlighters I’m going to talk about are in the shades ‘Peach lights’ and ‘Pink lights’. There is a third shade called ‘Golden lights’ which is a gorgeous golden shade but sadly it’s been sold out every time I’ve wanted to order it. These retails for only 3£ and you get 7,5g of product which is just crazy!
These apply so amazingly! They go on super smooth and they blend into my blush and contour beautifully, which gives that gorgeous glow on the cheekbones without having those obvious highlighted lines on your face that some highlighters give.
They are crazy pigmented as you can see below and a little goes a long way so if you prefer a subtle highlight then use a light hand and a fluffy brush to get a more subtle application. I personally prefer that really ‘In your face glow’ haha, so these are perfect for me especially when packed on with a dense brush.
Another plus is that I can wear these from early morning until nighttime without reapplying and I’ve never experienced any fading or blotchiness. They stay so well on my skin and give that gorgeous glow throughout the whole day.
One thing that I’m less pleased about is the packaging, I feel like it’s quite big and bulky which makes it a bit hard to store so I wish the lid was flat instead of doomed but for the price and quality, I really can’t complain!
